Street Photography in Brussels

I spent four days in Brussels. Very nice city, and I was lucky to have good weather the whole time. I wandered around the streets taking pictures.

Crosswalk lines echoing the facade of a modern building

A crosswalk I came back to multiple times because I thought this shot could be interesting. I’m not fully convinced with the result, but I like the geometry of the vertical lines on the building echoing the crosswalk stripes.

A kid running across a rooftop terrace overlooking the city

I saw this kid running and tried to capture the shot right when he was crossing that shadow line, to get this bright/dark contrast.

A man reading behind a cafe window

This man at the cafe caught my eye. I like that he’s looking right at me, and the light is quite nice too.

A kid on his smartphone, sitting next to a vintage photograph of people reading newspapers

A kid on his smartphone. What’s ironic is the picture right next to him, with people reading newspapers.
